Chris Mann Challenger Flip Opportunity

Candidates

Chris Mann, Kansas

Attorney General | Former Law Enforcement | Public Safety

Flip opportunity. This is a seat Leadership Now PAC has identified as winnable.

Chris Mann became a police officer at 21 while still in college, but a drunk driver struck him during a traffic stop, forcing him to retire from law enforcement at age 25. He earned a law degree, served as a prosecutor in the Wyandotte County District Attorney's office, and worked at the Kansas Securities Commission before founding his own law firm in 2016. He served as national chair of Mothers Against Drunk Driving and successfully advocated for Kansas's ignition-lock law for DUI offenders. His priorities include public safety, consumer protection, and combating youth suicide.
