Mary Peltola, Alaska
Flip opportunity. This is a seat Leadership Now PAC has identified as winnable.
Mary Peltola served a decade in the Alaska House of Representatives and later directed the Kuskokwim River Inter-Tribal Fish Commission before becoming, in 2022, the first Alaska Native person elected to the U.S. Congress. Yup'ik and a lifelong Alaskan, she built a reputation for cross-partisan collaboration during her time in the House. Her priorities, framed as “Fish, family, freedom,” include fisheries and rural-community interests, food security, and congressional term limits.
