George Whitesides, California

Rep. George Whitesides holds a bachelor's degree from Princeton University's School of Public and International Affairs and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, and was a Fulbright Scholar in Tunisia. He served as Chief of Staff of NASA and as CEO of Virgin Galactic, helping advance U.S. commercial spaceflight, and co-chaired the Antelope Valley COVID-19 task force. In Congress he serves on the Armed Services and Science, Space & Technology Committees, focusing on national security, advanced manufacturing, and good jobs for the future.
