Kristen McDonald Rivet, Michigan

Rep. Kristen McDonald Rivet earned a bachelor's degree from Michigan State University and a master's in public administration from the University of Michigan–Flint. Before Congress she served in the Michigan Senate as assistant majority floor leader and led education and child-development organizations, including as Executive Director of Michigan Head Start and Vice President at the Skillman Foundation. She serves on the Agriculture and Transportation & Infrastructure Committees, focusing on family economic security, workforce readiness, and community resilience.
