Luke Bronin, Connecticut

Luke Bronin holds a B.A. from Yale College, an M.Sc. from the University of Oxford as a Rhodes Scholar, and a J.D. from Yale Law School, and served as a U.S. Navy Reserve officer, including a deployment to Afghanistan on an anti-corruption task force. He served as Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Terrorist Financing and Financial Crimes, as general counsel to Connecticut Governor Dannel Malloy, and as mayor of Hartford from 2016 to 2024, and he currently lectures at Yale Law School. His work has centered on municipal finance, economic development, and effective governance.
